At BHW, we do our best to stay on the cutting edge of technology. We employ state-of-the-art equipment which allows us to fabricate the vast majority of the sheet metal we install. For example:

Iowa Precision Fabriduct® coil lines. While most full-service shops may operate a single 60” coil line machine, we have TWO 72” machines! What does this mean? It means we can produce 6' ducting versus the standard 5' ducting; resulting in fewer unions and quicker installation. In addition, with two Fabriduct® machines, we can build what you need - when you need it!

BHW complements their Fabriduct® coil lines with other Iowa Precision equipment. These include the Cornermatic® and Whisperloc®.

The Cornermatic® and Whisperloc® machines allow us to quickly assemble ducting for rapid delivery.

Due to the high volume of finished products built by BHW employees, industry standard plasma cutters aren't enough. Two plasma cutters in any fabrication shop is considered the norm; Not for BHW!

We operate two Lockformer Vulcan 2900® dual table plasma cutters in addition to our two single table units.

For insulation cutting:

We use the highly-praised Lockformer Vulcan 1600® plasma cutter. This machine is capable of cutting insulation up to 6” thick – fast!

For spiral ducting;

As is expected from a shop as diversified as BHW, we fabricate spiral ducting up to 84” in diameter.

For oval ducting;

BHW has the right equipment to quickly create oval ducting from round stock.

Double-walled, insulated ducting & flanged elbows;

BHW has the equipment to create these and other specialty items with relative ease.

Reinforced coil lines;

As a standard, BHW reinforces all coil lines to ensure strength and rigidity.
